Extension Process

1. Book Your Consultation

Begin with an in-person extension consultation so we can color match your hair, assess your hair’s needs, discuss your desired results, and determine which extension method will best achieve your goals. This is also when we will select and order your hair.

2. Consultation Fee

Extension consultations are $75. If you decide to move forward with your extension service, your consultation fee will be applied toward your deposit.

3. Secure Your Installation Appointment

Once your consultation is complete and you’re ready to move forward, you’ll pay your deposit/retainer fee to reserve your installation appointment. Please note that this payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

4. Schedule Your Installation

After your deposit is received, we’ll select a date for your extension installation. Your installation appointment will typically be scheduled 1–2 weeks after your initial consultation, allowing time for your custom hair order to arrive.

First Appointment
Includes

  • Your first extension appointment is designed to create a seamless, customized look while making sure you feel confident caring for your extensions at home.
  • Installation of 100% human hair extensions customized to your desired look.
  • A precision haircut to seamlessly blend your natural hair with your extensions.
  • A finished style so you can see your completed look, along with a personalized styling tutorial to help you recreate it at home.
  • Color services, if needed. Depending on your desired result and your current hair color, a separate color service may be required. We’ll determine this during your initial consultation.

Maintenance
Appointments

  • Proper maintenance is essential for keeping your extensions looking beautiful while protecting the health and integrity of your natural hair.
  • Maintenance appointments are required every 4–7 weeks for an extension move-up or reinstall service. Staying on your recommended maintenance schedule helps prevent tangling, matting, and unnecessary stress or breakage to your natural hair.
  • A maximum of two move-up appointments is permitted between each uninstall and reinstall.
  • An uninstall + reinstall is required every 8–10 weeks to thoroughly remove the extensions, assess your natural hair, and reinstall the extensions safely. This helps maintain the integrity and health of your hair.
  • Cuts and styling are not included or required at maintenance appointments. Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair. If you'd like to add a haircut, blowout, or other salon service to your appointment, additional services may be booked for their standard service price.

Long-term
Expectations

  • Beautiful, healthy extensions are an investment, and proper care plays a major role in maintaining their quality and longevity.
  • New extension hair will typically need to be purchased every 6–9 months. The exact timeline will vary depending on the extension method, your individual hair, and how well the extensions are maintained.
  • The longevity of your extension hair depends heavily on your at-home care. Consistent, proper care will help preserve the softness, shine, and overall quality of your extensions. Be sure to review our Extension Care Guide for all of our recommended care practices.
  • Extension-friendly products are required. Using products that are specifically formulated for extensions is essential to maintaining the integrity and longevity of your hair. Your stylist will walk you through the products and routine recommended for your specific extensions during your appointment.
